Erasmus+ project MindZen officially launched!

Erasmus+ project MindZen officially launched!

In June 2025, partners DayCape (SE) and Motyvaciniai projektai (MPRO, LT) kicked off the Erasmus+ project MindZen.
The main ambition of this project is to enhance young people’s (aged 18–25) emotional well-being and cognitive stimulation through an integrative approach combining traditional meditation practices with innovative VR meditation experiences.

1st Transnational Partner Meeting – Vilnius, 31 Aug – 02 Sep

Partners gathered in Vilnius to align project goals and activities. During the meeting, they:

  • Shared experiences in VR, meditation, and emotional well-being methods

  • Showcased VR hardware & software (Mpro presented their VR-work)

  • Discussed participant recruitment strategy (criteria & outreach)

  • Designed the 2-day pilot meditation workshop

  • Took part in field visits to explore VR in real-life contexts:

  • Antėja Clinic – VR headsets are used in medical settings to help patients reduce stress, overcome fear, and manage anxiety during procedures. The medical team presented both the benefits and challenges for healthcare staff.

  • HexaCinema – partners tested VR experiences for mindfulness and immersive relaxation.
