Mindzen – Promoting Youth Wellbeing through Meditation and VR

Mindzen is a collaborative project between DayCape-Daymonic AB (Sweden) and Motyvaciniai projektai (Lithuania), funded by Erasmus+. The project aims to strengthen young people’s emotional wellbeing and cognitive abilities through an innovative combination of traditional meditation and Virtual Reality (VR).

The target group is young people aged 18–25, particularly those experiencing stress, anxiety, or concentration difficulties. By integrating mindfulness practices with immersive VR experiences, Mindzen provides concrete tools to manage stress, enhance memory, creative thinking, and problem-solving skills.

The project runs from June 2025 to July 2026.

Project Components

  • Training and joint method development for VR-based meditation

  • Pilot workshops in both Sweden and Lithuania with young participants

  • Production of a digital toolbox accessible to organizations working with the target group

  • Active dissemination of results through events, social media, newsletters, and digital platforms

Expected Outcomes

  • Young people gain improved stress management skills and enhanced cognitive capacity

  • Organizations working with the target group gain access to innovative and practical methods

  • The project results in a scalable concept that can be shared and adapted by other organizations across the Nordic region and Europe
